The first and best thing I can say about my lesson is, "Oh my..."
Getting up in front of a bunch of elementary or high school students has always been pretty comfortable for me. But when I figured out I had to get up and teach a five minute lesson over photography to a class full of people at my level of study in school, some of which were also amazing photographers, I was sure it would probably all end in tears. As I began combing through what I could do for my lesson, I decided to use the now popular trend of Selfies; using what makes a good selfie or a bad one. Only, I wasn't sure exactly where I should go from there. As I stood in front of the class, I gave a brief power point over selfies and instructed them to take out their phones and take their own selfies. In it, they needed to show something that described their personality (something that, in my opinion, makes a selfie good).
